    Hey everyone,

Well I’ve had a very busy weekend, and I managed to spend less than £20 thanks to my brilliant OH. I nearly slipped up and was going to buy a new pink ipod nano for £125, but I put my credit card away and left it. I’m really struggling at the moment, so many things I would like, but since I joined this site I question everything before I buy it. I think it’s a good thing but I am getting fed up not being able to buy myself anything.

Anyway…I must stop depressing myself!!!! :D

Amy – those kitties are sooo cute. I want I want…!!

That’s got to be the funniest picture Amy, a cat running away with tampax!!

    How are you all?

    Hi Hayley

Well done you on putting the ipod back. . Have you made a list of things you want to get when debt free? I have... and its getting longer! :rotfl:

My cats are cheeky little sausages, but very cute. And the kittens im sure are going to cause my sister even more trouble. :p

    Hi Amy,

I do have a list, a very long one. I think I add to it everyday. It’s depressing looking at it and knowing I will have to wait months before I can actually treat myself.

I’ve just seen your thread about motivation, I’m feeling exactly the same as you at the moment. I do keep telling myself it won’t be for much longer then I can treat myself and start saving a mortgage with the OH.

I soo badly want a kitty, maybe when I’ve got my own house!!! :D

Just sold two items on Amazon, so that’s £10 to put towards my debt. Normally I just transfer any money from items I’ve sold into my current account, then just use the money to spend on rubbish, (food, magazines etc). I am now going to use any money I make from selling and put it towards my debt.

I know what you mean about the list, but its kind of good to look at it and think... ooooo look what im going to get. And also gives me time to think "do i really need/want it". Im terrible for impulse buys!

Sounds like a great idea re: the extra money. I have just transfered £210 from my paypal into my current account but cant put it towards my debt until i get paid as it covers my rent. I wish money was more simple! :rotfl:

I wish i had waited until i had a house to get my cats, but then again i wouldnt of got them, and they are definitely characters!
