I'm like that, i hate text talking and often can't work out what my kids type
Well considering I can use predictive and so type even more quickly and just as efficiently as people I know who don't use predictive but use all those contractions etc there doesn't seem to be any need to use those contractions any more as far as I can see. What really gets me is that for something developed for reasons of efficiency in a specific medium is when people start using them in other media such as emails or documents. You've got a full keyboard, just use it!!!
Some things are ok but some I have real trouble working out what they say. In fact my mum is one of the worst!! I'm 28 and it's my mum who uses txt spk while I use fully spelled out words!"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

None taken. Believe me, it sometimes surprises me to learn some really childish and immature posters can be more than twice my age. Although I don't think I've ever been considered "typical" or "normal" at any age I've been."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I've just charged my Viewty today since last Thursday so it's been 4 days since i had to charge it so those who say this phone has a short battery life are probably using it for listening to music and the web etc and for those like me who only use it for phoning and texting then it lasts up to 4 days.
I'm still liking it and it takes lovely photos
It takes a while to start up from switching on though which doesn't bother me, i like it because i can text without holding it whilst it just sits on my desk
A defo 10/10 :beer:0 -
Just got a 6500 slide but find that it can take ages to erase mistakes in text - have to push clear button 5-6 times. Also slow at times to send messages. Anyone else this problem? Otherwise I'm pleased with the phone.2p or not 2p? That is the question!0
