Sorry for late reply, been a busy couple of weeks.

Well after WFS messed up severely by signing for my letter and then telling me they never received it, they have decided to pay out. I sent the acceptance letter back last week and haven't heard anything yet, so I'll let you know if I face any further problems.

My other complaint with the FOS is still ongoing.

Good to hear your going to get something back from wf, hope you receive £s very soon.
I'm still sending them minimum monthly payment and have been for the last 9 months, haven't had any contact from them.
Heard from FOS to say they are dealing with my case and PPi, I send them copies of letters to wf and postal orders each month.
How long can this go on for?? just wandering if because they haven't responded to my letters or rejected the payments I send them if they have accepted the amount. (wishfull thinking I suppose)
How long is it with No Contact from Creditors is it?? Maybe I'l stop paying and hope they go away for good!!!:rolleyes:

If they haven't responded to your CCA request, you're more than entitled to stop payment.

Hi everyone who reads these posts.I done everything that was on this site to reclaim ppi.I started with the template letters sent recorded always to welcome.Of course no reply,so i sent all the copies of the letters to the fos.This was in feb 09,now in july 09 i got a letter from fos on sat saying welcome had agreed to pay me in full ppi 2187 pounds.The fos also have made them pay 8 % intrest on each year i paid it 3 yrs also made them pay me 200 pounds compensation.i have heard welcome are now just sorting these claims through the template letter as the intrest and compensation are killing them.At last someone with sense is now dealing with the ppi at welcome,not the old fruitbats.so to every one thinking about it go for it now. :T:money:

I am still waiting for an adjudicator from the FOS but havent received any more charges letters touch wood I will gt these back too if its the last thing I do and it takes me ages.....so I might be here a long while

Well I thinkmay have a result. I called Welcome yesterday to get an update on my PPI, was very polite and explained I was only calling as I had been waiting so long with no reply (13 weeks today to be precise), I was then given an apology for the delay and told I will be getting a FULL PPI refund, as well as 8% interest added on top.

I wont totally believe it until I get the acceptance form through to sign, but its looking good.

Hi was this after the fos got involved and gave them 8 weeks to pay.Or is this just through your letters dude.?

I didn't involve the FOS. I explained in my first letter that I'd give them the chance to make a decision, and if I wasn't happy with that decision I'd then go to the FOS. I also knew that they had only 8 weeks to make a final decision, so when the 8 weeks passed, I knew I had a better than average chance of getting what I wanted.

When the 12 weeks came up, I called and said if I don't get a decision soon, I'll be forced to involve the FOS, and the lady put me on hold, came back and said they're giving me a full refund plus interest. This is only what the FOS would grant me anyway.

Just put in a claim with Welome for PPI mis-selling. I received a letter today saying they will issue afinal response by 17-09-09.
