Financial difficulties/hardship case

thought i'd bump this up again as there's a couple of us wanting advice on it...
thanks0 -
Everyone thinks its a foregoine conclustion that they will get there bank charges back and are banking (no pun intended) on them being refunded. there is always the chance that the courts will rule in favour of the bank and everyone will get absolutely zilch.
You should be working on what you've got now and look on it as a bonus if they do refund charges.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Does my situation qualify as financial hardship? I am in full time employment and receive no benefits.
You need to write to the bank concerned and let them know, you wish them to investigate your claim because you believe you are suffering financial hardship. They will probably ask you to provide full details of your income and outgoings and then will make a decision.0 -
hi guys, i'd appreciate some info please. i've claimed my charges back with abbey using the template letters from the site, i recieved a letter back stating that all cases were going on hold till the appeal had been heard, but since then i've had a letter requesting my financial situation as i have recently left work etc etc, which i promptly filled in and returned including all the details of creditors etc etc, does anyone have any idea of what might happen next if anything? any info gratefully appreciated

can anyone advise me on what to do next,
ive just had the letter confirming my bank charges back from Lloyds tsb so next step is to send off and and ask for them.
i believe i fall into the "financial hardship" segment, do i write this on the letter i send to them as well?0 -
I'm not entirely sure what to do and need advise. I filed my claim just before the case went to court and I recieve regular updates from Lloyds TSB although I have currently closed that account. At the moment I have found myself in a mess with my finances and I don't know whether I can write to my bank to be considered for the hardship claim. I am a student who has to stay in Leicester for the summer to complete a defered assignment. I have spent everyday looking for a job and applying and have only heard back from one. I still have last months and this months rent to pay, my credit card installments, my phone bill which will need 2 months payment very soon, phone insurance, I am over my student account overdraft and my current account. I have £8 in my purse for food and the university has offered £60 to help me out. I have no parents to be able to ask for help and am becoming more and more distressed.
Do you think I could be considered for the hardship claim?0 -
