Thanks, I have been feeling awful but am beginning to see already that it can get better. It does seem odd at the moment meeting people online but I am getting used to it already, and you have been a brilliant support to me. Even a few days ago the thought of meeting people I'd met on the internet would have been something I never entertained in my wildest dreams, am am quite shy but I see that things have got to change and I'm now looking forward to it, I think if I do things which scare me a little, and try to put myself out there so to speak, even if I have more misses than hits, some hits is better than none.

I am in the North west as well Rosie, there are a few groups knocking around that one of my friends goes to.
She is also very shy, and feels nervous, but once there she is fine. Weirdly enough i met her at adult ed about 15 years ago. We have been through degrees together and all sorts of crisises..she is, i am proud to say one of my Best Friends. Without her at times i would have been on the floor, and she has built up a great circle of friends just by putting herself out there...It can be done.x

hi rosy - just caught up and I'm so happy you are feeling more positive - just one small positive thing will lead to another.

re: the meets - they are cool. I went to the Blackpool one (and there are some awful photos of me to prove it!!!) along with 4 or 5 others. It was great. I didn't make the Birmingham one in January and I can't make the Glasgow one in June, but I'm determined to make the Leeds one!!

Everyone who will be there is lovely - just ordinary (well for the most part!!!!!) people, no axe murderers have popped up yet!!

Hope you stick around - you'll be able to look back in a few months (or weeks even!) and see the huge progress you've made.

Am having a terrible black day today, just got myself stressed again and cannot see any way out of it, have decided to withdrew money out of my savings to pay £1800 loan and credit card off as I just can't cope with the monthy payments coming out of my account anymore, at least my monthly outgoings will be a lot less and I can try to build up my savings again, just can't cope anymore, I keep feeling up and down, believe me I know people on here have much worse problems but I just can;t see anything except years of this, can't see any way out, am in tears again, don't know what to do. Just cannot cope anymore.

Oh Rosy, if its any consolation i have been really down the last few days. And i mean down. Especially because its a bank holiday. But i have taken my frustration out on my washer. I propmise things will get better in time honey. And you can cope. You have coped. And you will carry on coping. You do anything silly girl and i will come over and rip your arm off and hit you with soggy end. There is always a way out, you just need some support and guidance. x x x x x

And i've been taking it for about 7 years now and it makes me feel I've got my life back. Healthspan do one that isn't that expensive, and it's free p and p and a free phone call too.

Can't remember who mentioned St John's Wort earlier in the thread, but I would like to second that idea. St John's Wort is herbal, non-addictive and extremely powerful. I have been taking it for PMT for about 4 months now and the difference it has made is amazing. Don't get me wrong, I still feel 'out of sorts' occasionally, but don't get the mood swings I used to.

I would definitely recommend you do a little research and see what you think.
