hello southern bell, looks like your doing well so far, the journey canbe long so keep going for it missy :D imtrying hard to preserve my will power but sometimes it fades haha but fortunatley i have no access to my cards haha thanx to my mum :P xx

Hiya, thanks! I will keep plugging away at it LOL. Good for you about the cards. I am too afraid of "emergencies" to get rid of the cards completely, but I don't put everything on them like I used to. I pay more than minimum everymonth so I think I should be OK. Eventually!

  • Woo, just sold my old PC for £40 - will pay for my 2 week gym membership £27 and a taxi home tonight! Was far less than what it's worth but got it out of my way and made a bit of cash. Had been sitting collecting dust for a year!!

  • Well, today have transferred £30.58 from my paypal account to the Natwest overdraft. Was going to wait to avoid paying a fee, but have been feeling discouraged today so thought I'd whack it in there to make me feel like I've done something DFW!
Spent £35 today on some things for work that I need, and have emailed some freecycle people - have asked for bootfair lots and will do a bootfair next week and see if I can make some extra pennies. The Natwest overdraft will be clear in 2 months, but the more I throw at it the less the final payment will be, if you see what I mean. After September's payment the total will be £359.65, so that's £40 extra a month to go on everything else. If I could get that down a little bit more that'd be cool.

Need to update my sig now....makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere!

No they don't unfortunately. They're not strictly essential, but they make life a lot easier so I'm not too annoyed. I have got a work shopping list and am limiting myself to £100 in next months wages. Should last me a long time though.

Am going to pick up a lot of stuff for bootfairs tomorrow - gotta love freecycle. Feel like a bit of a scrounger selling other people's junk but every little helps at the moment. I was going to do a bootfair anyway but haven't really got enough stuff of my own.

  • Well, today is a definite low. I hate it here. I don't want to hate my parents; but I cannot live with them. Living with my mum - I feel like I don't even like her as a person. She's self-centred and has to be centre of attention. I don't want to dislike my own mother. :(

I've also scrounged a car load of bootfair stuff from freecycle - how pathetic - loading my car with someone else's junk to sell. Like a tramp.

I hate this, and at the moment I hate myself.

Awwww, no need to be so hard on yourself. You're going out there, taking the time to collect the items and to sell it to get yourself out of that mess! Most people won't bother.... so here's a round of applause to you! :T You are doing well... don't let the little things get you down (too much)...
Smile more often, it's FREE :hello: Live on £4000 for a year stalker! :p
