Petrol was 117.9c/litre in Omeath last weekend. €40 3/4 filled my car.
£20 the week before in Lisburn @ 99.9p/l got me just over 1/4 tank
I'm in Letterkenny this weekend, so I'll check for any further drops.0 -

I'm from Derry originally so travel down there a fair bit to see the folks. The stations at Bridgend and Muff tend to be the dearest and some have a habit of putting the wrong type of fuel into your car!
In Muff as you drive towards Moville there's a farm called McErlaine's on the left just after the Statoil station (signposted with a hand painted billboard) - he only sells diesel and tends to be the cheapest in Muff. He's also trustworthy and does not use agricultural diesel/stripped diesel.
If you prefer a proper petrol station, drive out of Muff towards Moville. There's a petrol station (Maxol I think) at Quigleys Point (left at the Point Lodge Hotel) and a second a little further down the Moville road called Brendan's. Both of these tend to be a few cent per litre cheaper and again are untampered fuels. Brendan's also will give you 45% on sterling transactions so you can save yourself a few bob there too!Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Hello
Petrol is 74.9p :j in Muff just outside Derry I've just discovered. But I was charged 3% exchange rate when paying by sterling. Next time I'll pay by euro.
In Belfast I think cheapest garage is Sainsburys:84.9p.
Lets talk cheap petrol. Any other cheap garages... I am covering 160 miles 4 days a week.
