  • I'm well on track for this month:T

nearly cried in the supermarket tonight. The pack of sausages i normally buy has risen by 39p in the last few days. On the plus side we're now eating more veggie meals than ever, but still can't quite take the leap over to the other side.

I'll give it another couple of days yet before posting my final figures though.

Some good news. Parents are giving me their Bread maker:T going to see how it goes, but be warned, i will be asking lots of questions/scouring the forums for answers.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

We are similar to you.... hubby only said the other day that he couldn't "Go Veggie".... yet we regularly eat meatfree meals -more through prefering them than to reduce costs.. but call them veggie and hubby panics :rotfl:
I was vegan for quite a few years and then veggie -before being lured by the humble bacon sandwich :p ..but now we just find that we choose more and more meat free options.... Hubby could live on feta, cottage, in fact most cheese, prawns, tuna etc....

Hi and welcome on board queen of string..prepare to become addicted :D

Hubbies wages have gone in ...early again  but won't complain.... but im not going to start on it until next weekend if i can help it ;)
Hubby foolishly asked me how much he had to give me (silly boy :p )..he has had to borrow some off me this month as the army messed up his allocation and sent too much back to his UK account.... now even though its all "our" money.. I know that if I don't take it back he will just waste more... he admitted the same :p ..... so i have an extra €200 this month :j .. so €650 in total but im hoping to put €500 into replenish my savings account as we have had some out to sort the car out  ... im trying to save so we can get that holiday to Kefalonia next year :D ....and i should manage easily on €150 for June.... especially as all my veggies are going great guns:j
have a good eveing all... off to watch ricky hatton ;)

For anyone who is looking, Asda are doing 24 wholemeal rolls for £1.00.

I got mine for 1 pence :T the checkout lady put them through wrong and she coouldnt be botherd to correct it so said it was my May bank holiday present :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Have a good weekend all.
