Afternoon all
Had another grocery NSD.. but did go and fetch some more garden canes from the garden centre on the corner -they really shouldn't have one THAT close to me  ... So i have been out building another frame for more beans ...can NEVER have too many beans  ..and hubby built me a frame for some of the tomatoes to be secured to once they need it :T I say SOME as i have 38 tomato plants :rotfl: .... Have noticed that not only have my broad beans got soooooooo many flowers on, but one of the courgettes has flowers on too :j courgette tea bread/muffins and courgette quiche here I come  :rotfl:
Had steamed organic new potatoes -with a tiny bit of butter and fresh mint with sliced pork and salad for lunch  ...but i somehow missed 3 of the tiny potatoes...so I will simply HAVE to plonk them in a pot in a few days and grow some more
Right I had better get off again...
keep up the great work everyone

Hiya
Haven't been able to follow this thread much this month ..
Damage so far is £248.43, but I am very proud that it includes everything, even three random chocolate bars that I have bought whilst out and about. Won't be declaring just yet, because the bank holiday may be damaging but roll along 28th when the new month starts. Fingers crossed I can get away with just bread and milk until then.
Needed to ask a Q though - have Tesco stopped taking MOC because when I tried to use some at the self serve, it wouldn't accept any for products that I hadn't bought  ??0 -
I'm declaring my May total as £98.02
Not sure how to tackle June onwards as I am in the process of doing a MAJOR bulk buy. I'm planning on spending a maximum of £200 on what I hope will do me through to the end of the year for most of the dry goods, tins, laundry, toiletries and baking extras, but will need to buy dairy, eggs, meat, fruit & veg and top-ups when required. I'm hoping that the garden produces loads of summer & autumn produce. I'll set a target of £40 for June and I'm updating my signature as an overall annual budget, as I've run out of space for monthly totals.
NYK Media June target - £40I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Well my budget is well up the creek now, spent another tenner today-hoping I've got nearly everything covered now. Won't be declaring until end of next week.
Please put me down for £200 next month -I'll try again to beat the budget, problem is all the price rises.GE 36 *MFD may 2043
