Good for you Merry! I'm also trying to lose weight at the moment as my OH and I have decided to get married in October. (Before anyone jumps at me for being bankrupt and how can we afford to get married) we're having a very low key wedding with our parents paying the majority of the money.

Thanks tigerfeet for thinking of us Tigerfeet. I looked on there a lot when we started to research how much it would cost and took a lot of the suggestions on board. We've sorted a lot of the stuff to be honest as we decided to do it when my nan was very poorly and set the date then. With her passing away it kind of was pushed to the front and then the bankruptcy malarky pushed it to the back. Anyway sorry Merry for hijacking your thread!

Looks like the Co-op accounts are slowly getting sorted out. They have taken the money we owed from our Smile accounts - something called setting off?! - and we are in the process of changing all of our direct debits from the main account so that we can close that as instructed by the OR.

My new joint card arrived today, but no PIN :rolleyes: but not had my card for my single cashminder yet. I really hope it arrives soon - I hate having to put everything on the joint account and transfer the money over :mad:

Today was good - went to visit DD2's new secondary school to meet her teacher, and bought her football boots (thank goodness for Brantano :T ) Also managed to limp to the petrol station and get some petrol - the light was glowing at me and I was starting to panic that the block wouldn't be lifted from the cards, but we have success!!

So into a new weekend, and realised today was our Banniversary - it was a month ago today we went Bankrupt :beer: Life is calmer and more peaceful, and things are getting more organised. Waiting to hear from the OR about the cars.

So this is just a general ramble. Nothing spectacular - the ramblings of an Undischarged Bankrupt are not going to be spectacular really are they!!
