  • Hi Merry! Glad to hear you survived your OR interview and that she was nice to talk to. From my own perspective, its always nice to hear of pleasant (if thats the right word which I'm sure its not) experiences of the OR knowing that I've got mine to come at some point (gotta go br first). Anyway, have yourself a relaxing evening and take care x x

BTW did the OR say if she will contact your LL? ...just wondered if that is normal practice.

    Angexx

She did mention contacting the LL - said it's because often people rent privately and it's to confirm that the amount of rent they say they are payng is what they are actually paying. We sent in a copy of our tenancy agreement, and I told her that when we initially contacted the Lettings Agents we told them we would be undischarged bankrupts so they already know, and she seemed quite pleased. :)

Thanks Skinty. All I can say is that it was very factual - I tend to tear up at a lot of things, and didn't reach that stage even when we were talking about the relationship breakdown leading to finding out the financial situation. Honestly, it's just another door to walk through. :)

Hmm, I guess the next worry is getting access to all of our money sorted out in time to cover direct debits, and get the new accounts up and running smoothly!

Sometimes I feel like that, and then other times I read what people are going through and think I have been relatively fortunate. :)

    Monday 7th July

Well the OR interview is over. I need to send in the last mortgage statement that we received, and will do that tomorrow. I think I am over-tired - I was just laughing at a thread then realised I was crying . The kids have gone to bed, H hasn't come back downstairs, so I think tis time for my mini-meltdown - gonna wrap myself in a duvet, fall into bed and let it all out.:cry:

Nite nite peeps - thanks so much for all your support, it really means a lot to me. :hello:

Your body's reacting to the stress you've been under, & that's totally understandable. :) All of us try to put a brave face on things, especially in front of those who we haven't told about our situation, & now that you've had your interview you can finally let go of that. Try to relax, eat some chocolate before you go to bed (that's my cure-all :D), & get a good night's sleep. You deserve it. :)

Well done on getting through it Merry!

As has already been said all the stress and pressure you were under your reaction yesterday was inevitable... and today is a brand new day :)

Hopefully the IPA and car news will be what you want to hear :)
