Yes, she did call and unfortunately we have to move all the money out of the Co-op account and open another one All in hand though - just means changing all the direct debits again. And don't worry about hijacking - wherever it strikes you mate!

H just sent me these and it made me laugh:

1. IF YOU'RE CHOKING ON AN ICE CUBE, SIMPLY POUR A CUP OF BOILING WATER DOWN YOUR THROAT. PRESTO! THE BLOCKAGE WILL INSTANTLY REMOVE ITSELF.

2. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

3. AVOID ARGUMENTS ABOUT THE TOILET SEAT - USE THE SINK.

4. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

5. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

6. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

7. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

8. REMEMBER - EVERYONE SEEMS NORMAL UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM.

9. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING, BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Thank you for that information. I do not like the idea of not having an account, and like even less the idea of leaving my money in my Nat West account for it to be frozen and not able to live and pay the bills.

Still one step at a time. I have not heard from the IVA people, so tomorrow they will hear from me. I want to know what is going on.

Merry does she unfreeze the account for you to move the money?

She's faxed the Co-op to say we can take the money out, which is why it feels like a paper exercise - we're just gonna put it back into another Co-op account!

Thanks Merry, I need to sort the IVA people out, then when I know what is happening I can ring these help line people up. Will start to fill in the I&E IVA people sent on Monday, god alone knows why, unless it was already in the post tray when I phoned them. I have not returned it, and do not intend to, unless she asks tomorrow.

Wednesday 11th June

First day post BR and it was stressful. I knew the OR would be calling at some point today, and no matter how much I tried not to panic, I did. A bit confused about the Co-op Accounts business but I don't want to upset her by trying to tell her her job, so will just get going on opening the new ones and change the DDs over.


* Awaiting another call from her to book interview - not sure when that will be so better keep the mobile close by during the moving next week

* time to concentrate on getting the house packed up and ready to go.

* as soon as I have the new details let my payroll department know and get that sorted too.

Am more relaxed than I was, but I know this is far from over. You guys are great - made me laugh a lot this evening which always helps!!
