Not posted on here before Merry but thought I would add my support , I was directed to read the whole thread by a chance conversation with a friend who is also a member here (unknown to me) and instead of doing my usual and scrolling past, sat down the read the whole blooming thing!

Ignore the likes of kreditkcuncher.....I take it he/she has paid straight out in hard cash for a house rather than mortgaged to stick to the "Don't spend what you don't have idea" or maybe, just maybe they do have a mortgage in which case, that rule has been broken.

Mind you, I could be completely wrong and they rent...in which case I have made a complete fool of myself - although that is not rare!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Wish I did!

Went to my parents today and got lunch cooked and served to me on a tray...could go for that lifestyle more often! :rotfl:

Mind you, think they were doing it as a thankyou to me for once again, updating their anti virus on their pc and sorting out my brothers birthday pressie online.....they keep claiming ignorance on how to use a pc even though I have written them a very comprehensive guide to start up and get onto the internet, right down to even writing to press the enter button with a little picture by the side of it!:rotfl:

Oh and also for being Mrs Battleaxe for my dad up at Halfords after they messed him about on a CD player for the car, I go in with all guns blazing and after being given appointments which he has turned up for in the past and they have sent him away, this time I laid down the law and it was fitted this afternoon.......at reduced cost for the player and free fitting! :D

My ex hubby always said I was scary when I was in my righteous moood. :rotfl:
