When you go BR you do so as an individual but as you both have gone BR im sure your examiner will cross referance things, as for who is paying what as long as the % is proportianal to earning it shouldnt be a problem at all
I know what you mean though about it making it difficult to break down things from a joint account the golden rule though is if the examiner asks what a transaction was for and you dont know iether because it was made by your OH, or that you really just dont know then say so and stick to that regardles of what the examiner thinks
As for the moveing expenses DD etc you really do need to talk to the examiner about that and see if you can reach agreemant to release the accounts,
From what you have said it is probebly because there is more in there than would be deamed as household expenses so the examinour needs to know why ASAPThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
Thanks Bat
It does look really flush at the moment, but the CSA payment hasn't been taken yet, and both my and H's salary have just hit. We will have to pay final payments for the electricity and the water from this house, and any deposits for the new place. We didn't set up the accounts in advance to be sneaky otherwise we wouldn't have put them on the SOA - we did it to be as organised as possible - my fault I guess
I should be able to go through each transaction on there and say whether it was me or H, but if it was for the new house then it's just as likely to be both of us just using one of the cards.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Sounds like your pretty ready to me to be honest.
The best thing you can do is write a list of all the expected epenses for the move, living untill your next pay etc to justify why its there and get the account unfrozen if poss
The OR will be seeing it as a assett at the moment, you need to show its notThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
Hi Merry .. seems a bit harsh but if, like you say, it's looking a bit flush at the moment, that's probably why the OR is taking an interest .. if not it could be seen that there's a large pot of money that the OR hasn't even enquired about.
It's, unfortunately, the problem with opening the account before going BR, it runs the risk of being frozen
Like Bat says though, you need to prove that whats in there is essential for bills, rent etc etc and not just a nest egg you've saved up.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

How thick am I?! It includes next month's rent - H's salary doesn't come through til nearly the second week in the month, so we have next month's rent already there!! Major panicking done there but I think it's clearer now!!Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

You better be careful - when the meet happens I might just squash you with one of my Mega Hugs!!!
Question : my ex husband pays me £300 per month for the elder DDs. Does this count as my incomings, or as the equivalent of child benefit? It's not through the CSA or anything like that - just transferred to my account each month.
