    Hi Merry,
Just wanted to say I'm glad it went OK and you will feel better about it soon, honestly. Have one of these on me......*hands over a BIG glass (ok a bottle) of baileys.

Well Done Merry, you have come such a long way in such a short space of time, you've done really well. Now give yourself a pat on the back and get sorted for that house move!!

I'm glad it's all over for you but all these congratulations are really making me mad. It's hardly anything to congratulate is it? A job well done? It all seems way to easy to walk away from responsibilities these days.

I have nothing personal against you but the whole thing just seems wrong. Your earnings are so high, you are hardly on the breadline, you really should never have been allowed to do this

I beg your pardon.. have you read the rules of this forum if not it says it is not about JUDGEMENT.. you are judging are you not.. so why dont you just take a very LONG walk, and leave Merry alone. go pick on me as I said as you will not get any satisfaction from doing so.

I have to say I wonder what the hell your problem is, but have seen the likes of your type before.. time to say goodbye KRUCHER... oh dear was that you under my foot.. stamps feet to remove POO.

Thank you all for your best wishes. This has been a difficult decision to make and follow through with, and I plan to make sure I am never in this position again.

Merry some out there are so quick to judge, having never been where you are now.. you take care and you will show YOURSELF what you are made of.. dont give a toss about these DOUBTERS.. they are morons..

Today is the FIRST day of your new life, let no one rain on your parade Merry.. you have been my inspiration.. so let IT rain on mine if IT dares

Merry I think it's fairly obvious to most who've read the whole thread that this is not an easy option, that it's not one that anyone takes lightly and that this is not a magic one pill solution to things.

It appears to me that most people who've travelled this path have no other option regardless of income and outgoings.

People make mistakes, find themselves in unexpected changed circumstances or just find themselves out of their depth.

    It's called life.

Sometimes it sucks, but it's the only one you've got so you make the most of it.

As with all experiences you learn, you change and then you move on to the future.

You can never go back in time to undo things - though someone might like to have a word with the big man/mother nature depending on your beliefs that a reset button would be a useful addition - though I expect we'd all spend so much time resetting ourselves we'd not actually live life.

You've been so inspirational in your diary and I'm not in the position that many reading this are - but your spirit and words I know have helped others.

    Good luck with the move.

Why don't you just drop it, you've made your point
