    :hello:

Well has been an interesting morning, but we made it

H dropped me off outside court while he went to park the car. I set off the security alarm going in (silver bangles). Went to the reception desk to be told it was the wrong court  Phew, just outside, down the road and first left!!

So sat outside waiting for H to walk down from the car park. Lots of people rushing in and out - suits, trackies, shell suits :rotfl:

Into the correct building but went to the wrong waiting room. So off down the corridor to another room chock-full of people. Still not sure we're in the right place, til H checked. Woman comes in and calls my name just after 10 a.m. Off to a little room, where we explained that H was the second name on her list, so she and her colleague did us at the same time.

I did have a little cry when signing the papers - was starting to feel so incredibly real - but pulled myself together. Stumbled over giving my oath - who knew saying Almighty could be such a difficult one  - then were sent downstairs to pay our fees.

Back upstairs, logged in with the usher who explained there was only one judge so it might be a bit of a wait. Head in book, trying not to listen to general burble around. Next thing, usher comes through and calls a bunch of names out (including ours) to say we don't have to see the judge, and to go and wait downstairs again!!

We all troop downstairs, where we wait a bit longer. Names called, stamped SOA received back and told the OR would be calling either this afternoon or tomorrow!!

I feel numb, tired, upset, angry with myself - I feel like PMT on acid with all these emotions. No relief as yet - think that will depend on the OR conversation no doubut.

I definitely felt all the positive vibes, so thank you all very very much. Got first letter through from Northern Rock regarding mortgage arrears but not going to call just yet - gonna let my heart rate settle first.

Drinks are on me in the Inn later - but first I need to settle under the duvet and pick my heart up out of my shoes!!

I don't feel so daft about going to the wrong building now then!! Just wish I hadn't set off the security alarms - the looks I got from people! :rotfl:

They're a bit more nervous about people smuggling weapons into the divorce courts.. not bothered about the bankruptcy one though :D:D
