is Amazon as easy to sell on as Ebay? are there fees and if so what price range, thanks:hello: Laugh and smile everyday, it keeps you healthy ! :wave:Thanks for everybodies help on here, what a great community !0 -
Amazon is ten times easier to sell on, than ebay. Once you've registered and added bank details, enter an ISBN number, a quick description of the book, and click 'list'!
The fees are only charged when you sell. Admittedly, they are quite a bit higher than ebay, but you're are likely to get a much higer price for your book than you would on ebay so you end up better off.
Each sale lasts for 60 days, and if you dont sell, you can relist for free. Wish I'd found Amazon before I let some quality books go for 20p each at a car boot. Could probably have made a least 50 times that!
There's a big thread in the ebay forum about it.0 -
i've only used ebay once and that was to buy something so i'm a complete new-by to ebay/amazon.
I've decided on amazon to sell something (get a better price{) anyone provide and idiots guide - VERY basic!

Okay, Basic Idiots Guide to Amazon Selling.
- Amazon
- Click on "Sell Your Stuff" button just below all the curvy tabs.
- In one of the search boxes that pop up in the middle of the page, type in a title or ISBN number to find the book you're selling.
- Find your book in the results and click on "Sell Your Here" button next to it
- Pick the appropriate condition of the book from the drop-down list, and add a description. Make sure to note if there is any damage, yellowing, etc. Also put in the positives, i.e. if book comes from a UK seller, a smoke-free house, etc.
- Enter your price, the quantity available and your postal options (domestic/international/etc)
- Log in, or create a new account
- Double check your details, and click on "Submit your Listing". You should receive an email pretty quickly confirming your listing.
