Aren't invigilators just people who hand out and collect exam papers and make sure there's no cheating going on? I don't think they do any marking.0

That's right - invigilators would most likely also have to pack up papers ready to be returned to the exam boards, who then send them out again to markers/examiners. From my experience as a teacher, invigilators have to be good at coping with boredom - in some exams you put everything out on the desks before the students come into the room, start the exam when they are all there and counted, then stand around, occasionally walking up and down for a couple of hours. In the old days you used to have to give out fresh sheets of paper, graph paper, etc., but these days everything tends to be done in answer booklets, so there is far less for the invigilator to do. I knew a teacher who would spend his time estimating the number of bricks in the walls of the gym where the examination was going on!£2 coin savers club: £1.49

I think I could cope with the boredom if I was getting paid !
Can somebody enlighten me as to what the £2 club is and how you join the DFW club?

I send and receive mail for https://www.world-mail-panel.com - they are a market research company testing how fast letters zip from one country to another. I get £15 'Love 2 Shop' vouchers per month. It all adds up - I use them to buy pressies with, or to treat myself to the occasional magazine. You hve to sign up at their website and if they need people in your area they will contact you.Aspire not to have more but to be more.

yup, exam invigilators hand out and collect papers, hand out rulers, calculators, tissues etc, move people into and out of the exam room, take people to the toilet, nothing too taxing really and no marking involved.0
