I only have £35 in betfair though......not really enough to get stuck into SNRs anyway!!
I have been very grateful for all the "games" offers that have been around - paddypower, skybet and eurobet have all come up trumps in the last couple of weeks :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. You've done well on Paddypower - you're better at DOND than I am!!
Pain about the movable pay day - mine moves too but is never after 26th so is not so much of a problem. Good luck with the slush fund.0 -
Thanks Mizmir - I managed to get a jackpot round and won a £5 on that which made up for me drawing the top box in the first round so many times!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi Hypno and all..you'll manage it and in a few weeks you will look back and laugh at it all.Would your bank allow you a small overdraft for a few months until you are sorted?0

No, it is a savings account that they allow me to use for direct debits - just for the debts.....that way I CANNOT be tempted by the use of an overdraft "just for emergencies" - it makes me work harder to get the money by the due date.
I have overdrafts on my current accounts........they are always up to/over the limit - that is why I don't want another one!
It has worked well for the lasts 14 years - at least I know the important things get paid!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I hope that you find what your needing in time!. It scares me so much being unable to get my own savings accounts, and to have to use my mums to get my money saved, and a current account that I can access easily. Good old mum. I have opened my own cashminder account with the co-op, but I cant get Mr T delivery with that one. So currently my money goes into Mums bank. (But I do worry that if anything happened to her I may loose it all in the muddle. Heaven forbid of course)).
Got the bread maker working again today. I could get used to my own bread. Looked in the cupboard when looking for the yeast, I have enough flour to make 12 loaves. How come I got that much in? Ah well just need to buy more dried milk powder and I will have bread for nearly 2 weeks.!!
Hope you all have a good day.I have to go into work early to let one of the other shops have some stock. Far too much bric a brac. It needs a good home as my shop is over flowing. (Which is a health and safety risk!).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just found out that one of the random survey sights I have been doing for the last 6 months has earned me £16 worth of amazon vouchers if I want to cash in. But I think I might just hang on in there and see if I can get it up a bit higher. Just dont get many surveys? Ah well. I can but try. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Maybe you could put your 'extra' money (latte savings etc) into the loan account rather than the Egg card for now.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
