I have successfully managed to move most things to 1st month, but these two stick to the 28th - although one often doesn't collect until 1st anyway (but this seems to be quite random, so I can't count on it, and is a small amount anyway!)

I will just have to be organised..........:rotfl:

I flick the calender on my computer up, and step though the months looking to see when the last friday is...

I hope you weren't expecting something clever... ;)

We get paid on the last day of the month mostly. But then sometimes they change it. Christmas its usually early, but then its a long wait until the end of January for the next pay. So January is a very lean month. Mind you, nothing ever runs smoothly for me, and I cant tell what I am going to get yet as I have only just gone back to full time work today.! This month will be a bit wage, but next should be my new wage. Still got to have inland revenue work out my tax code. and I still havent had a reply from one of the Insolvency agents about what changes to my payments were needed when my money was SSP for 5 months!!.

Been through so many hoops in my life I feel pretty geedy!!!
Twin1 has a dillusion that she will apply to the council for her own place now, and move out. What with twin2 deciding to give the dad of her baby another chance, if they both decided to be rehoused (and Social would let them of course), it would mean that my son and I would have to move to a smaller property again. And I will not be too happy as I lost a nice council flat with a lovely big front room, and my dog.!:o

I've been caught out a couple of times with dd's coming out 'early' against pay particularly when we are up against our limit on the O/D. Not long after our LBM we nearly has some items unpaid - a real wake up call for us!! The light was already on full but this caused a major surge:D

As a result I now have a slush fund in savings with the same bank which I can move at short notice into the main bank account if needed to avoid this happening again. Its only a few hundred but it helps. I rather have the money paid off the CC but its the peace of mind in know that if the cashflow goes pear shaped theres a little leeway.

Mooloo, it would prob take ages for social to sort out housing for the girls - cross that bridge if and when it comes.

WorkinghardDFW - yes, a slush fund is what I need to arrange - I do my banking online and have other accounts for moving money around for car stuff, etc so having another "pot" for emergency moving at the end of the month *has* to be the way forward.....

Just need the £500 to fund it now.......easy :rotfl:

Even I can't rustle up that much in a week without undue risk!!

:o Ah well, will just see how it goes.......I will be raiding the car tax money, the car boot money, the church roof fund money (only kidding :o ) etc!!

    I love a challenge, me!!
