Ooh yes - latte savings into the slush fund, it would add up like crazy then!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Maybe you could put your 'extra' money (latte savings etc) into the loan account rather than the Egg card for now.
If I get a lift part way to work, that saves me £1.10 so that goes off the egg card.
If I resist the latte, then £2.65 goes into a savings account that I have with Egg, which I am hoping to use for early settlement of loans, but which in reality will have to be used for a slush fund.
So far there is £54 in there.........:D
I always knew these few months would be a "period of adjustment" - so I am ready for the last minute panics and hopeful sighs of relief!!
On another note - OH has gone to Buckingham Palace for a garden party - he is getting a lift down there, but I had to give him £20 so that if they stop at Services on the way he can at least buy the guy he is going with something to eat - I am hoping that at least some of that money comes back!
Got a free £10 bet to do the qualifier for tonight - must not forget - it is a "welcome back" one and it runs out tomorrow.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Yup, Will hill - need to read the T&Cs as it is so long since I did them that I can't recall SR or SNR.....

They didn't email me either - they emailed OH, but his debit card details are out of date and I need to update with his new card. BUT he is in London and I can't get in touch with him. I will have to wait for him to ring later tonight and then I can update the account and get on with looking for a match.
(He should be at Buck house by now, but is stuck in traffic - he is not impressed, especially as he wanted to go by train but his colleague insisted on driving. The whole thing finishes at 8, so he may well miss it all!)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
