Thats how I have managed to "save" £1,000 since I have been taking care of the family. I have lived as though I havent got much, and put it in everytime I got any payments from the girls or Tax Credits etc. But I am awaiting a hefty bill from the Insolvency Agency when they work out what I should have paid last year.
My aim was to get £1,000 by christmas, but I have managed it now that I am going to work more. Although the Tax credits etc are now being re assessed and so are the council tax etc, and ofcourse the housing. Everytime I had more than £300 in my main account I syphened it off into the other account. (courtesy of my mum of course). Will probably have to dip into it soon, but mean while its there. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Its good to have smaller milestones to aim at rather than constantly keep the main goal in sight.
Our main goal is to be DF but by focusing on staying solvent each month and reducing the first target CC is such a help as well as the other challenges I sign up for!!

I see it as a method of earning extra money - that means spending time doing clicks, surveys and on line bloomin bingo!!

When you take in your next lodger, tell them you need their bank cards, for 'identification' purposes!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
