Managed an early finish to the day - DD was exhausted in karate - so there is no way I am allowing her to ski tonight - she has skiing and karate tomorrow as well, so she needs to recover.
OH is out.....so I get the one remaining working laptop to myself for a couple of hours :jSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hope DD is okay Hypno, and that it's just over-tiredness and not a bug or something.

Go hypno,
Look at you all up and about and ready to take the day on!
Have you looked into the free aol laptop thingy?
I'm pinching your list idea and putting it in my diary xxxOn a mission0 -
Hi Laura - because we have such a good deal on our broadband, to pay the extra per month to get AOL and a laptop actually works out the same as going and buying a laptop separately!
So we are going to stick with what we have - mine is under warranty, so they WILL fix it, otherwise there will be merry hell to pay!
But we did look into it, and always happy for ideas!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
thats cool then i'm not desperate but 'could do with' a new one just wondered if anyone's tried this deal yet and if its a con!
Have a good day chuck xxOn a mission0 -
I think, basically, that you are tied into a contract for a long time - sometimes 24 months.....so, if you have a cheaper package at the mo, you need to multiply the difference between what you are paying, and what AOL charge, by the number of months you are tied into and that is basically the "cost" of the "free" laptop!
If that seems reasonable to you then you have a bargain - if the difference is greater than the cost of a "cheap" laptop elsewhere, then stay away from AOL!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
