Thank you (again) for all your support, especially with regard to the skiing. They won't be going to the Olympics (unless they want to be programme sellers in their gap years.....)....that involves a whole lot more dedication, ability, money, etc etc from a very early age, and although my two enjoy their skiing and do reasonably well at it, they are not olympic material. We will make do with yesterday's success for the time being

Good morning - summer is making a brief appearance today...hopefully! Lets hope it lasts for the school holidays!
Today is the last day at school for the children.....so they are happy.....the student is coming to the end of her second week with us - and has one week to go....and OH has a cold so is sniffling and snorting nicely...:rolleyes:
I am at work as normal, then running the student around this evening to her "disco" but I have a friend who lives nearby the venue and who has said I can go there while I wait, rather than do another round trip to drop student off, come home, go back and pick her up a couple of hours later....so that is a little petrol saved.

Thats a good friend! Sorry about OH's cold tho. Loving the summer, that feeling of heat in the air - and I'm off on a mystery shop to another local town, so will actually experience it rather than just look at it while on the computer.... have a good one.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Same here......it's that annoying combination of too warm for a coat but too overcast to go out without one. I have booked some sunshine for the second half of August though. "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
