Well, no wonder I am in debt - I have just seen a client and refused to charge.....!!! I didn't feel the session would have been right at this moment in time, so we just talked it through and I sent her on her way. She offered to pay and I said no.....

 A cancellation fee might have been in order!
.....good things will happen to me as a result....surely!!!

:o Well, as the sarcastic agnostic Catholics who are my nephews would say, you *will* make it to heaven... but you'll have to go to limbo or whatever first (purgatory does sound harsh!:o ) because God wants you to look after yourself as well as your clients!
Phone mystery shop now completed, so will submit that before I cause myself any other problems

:T Thats my girl! [in the voice of Butch, the dog in Tom and Jerry].

:money: :money: :money: Are you enjoying your nice clean house tho? Thats the main thing.

She didn't cancel though.....and would have gone ahead with the session..... but I knew it wasn't right for her to do today.....and I hate the thought of doing a session that I know won't work.

Limbo....yes, that is where I have been for the last few years.....getting to feel quite at home here.....

...tidy house - well 2 tidy rooms, a clean loo and a hall you can actually walk through....does that count

That reminds me, I am so busy wandering around from site to site, I still havent done my menu plan. Best off and do it now.
My dinner is also in the slow cooker, so have started on my list...honestly.

You *are* getting there.... and I'm sorry to butt in about the money.... its just, I know how hard it is to charge for your time, directly.... my hourly rate nowadays would be much less if I didn't have my partner, who is always the one who's driven our rate increases over the years, and who I have fought tooth and nail. He knows I'm grateful, even tho I've fought him! But I know, at the end of the day, you have to do what feels right for you. Good for you for doing it.

I've been away for the weekend and have had to catch up. Lots of lovely pages to read on Hypno's diary.

BUT oh dear a lot of Hypno followers as well as Hypno herself are having tough times now.

Sorry to hear about the theft Mooloo and that your DDs are smoking again.
I too will head over to the new Pania thread to see what happened.

Hypno you ARE brilliant and do so much.

Another of my daft ideas that you have no doubt already considered:could you share trips to skiing training and events with someone else so that sometimes you drive and other times the other parents do? Or could you not get all the skis on one car?

Also on the meal front do you cook puds? I had to provide puds when we had students and although it could be just yoghurts or icecream I found it cheaper and more interesting to cook. I actually really enjoyed finding old recipes for English puds in cookbooks from the 30s and 40s. Sad I know.

Hellooo! Have fed Pania comfort-minstrels......it was tough, but it needed to be done.....a big bag between us makes the world of difference sometimes :D

We try and share for ski trips where possible, but it doesn't work too often, sadly.

Puds...yum...no we don't tend to make these - good job really because otherwise I would be twice the size I am :o I try and do a pud of sorts if we have a roast on a Sunday, but otherwise we don't bother, so not much expense there.....

Update on the sausage casserole with rice in - looks and smells fabby :D

Hi Hypno give Pania our love won't you? Not sure if she is still reading on here but I have pmed her my contact details in case she wants to talk dog training (or anything else for that matter!).

So glad she has you (and minstrels!) close.

My beef in redwine is smelling good now, but there is hardly any of it, so will have to pad out with lots of potatoes, cabbage and maybe do some peas too.! Keep forgetting that there are 5 of us to feed as visitor is back. At moment her BF is here, so I am trying to prolong dinner, hope he goes soon, or will have a problem feeding as he is huge lad. Dinner not that much as it is.
Still havent sorted out my room, now its even more of a mess as I have just brought the dry washing in off the line and dumped it on the chair in here.
Will I ever learn that nothing is goiing to go away, unless I get the energy to do it. Currently I would curl up and go to bed if I could. Still got Tesco to tackle. As I dont usually go to tesco then thats a hurdle I am not looking forward to.
