There was an item on bbc news this morning about "procrastination"......it was on about 45 mins ago, and I am still sat here in my dressing gown, with a list of jobs awaiting my efforts.......

.....so, I will just finish my coffee....mooch around on here a bit more....wait for the weather forecast to come on.....see what is on telly for this evening.....and then get on with my jobs, otherwise I will not be able to see my clients and earn money :o

I saw that! I like that Jenny.... six items on a list, you can do it.

    - Re-tie dressing gown.
    - Make coffee.
    - Check out GIOL.
    - Check out tv listings.
    - Eat breakfast.
    - send a few pm's.

    See, done!

On the radio this morning I heard that car-usage according to trafficmaster is down 3%

For those of you who care about random statistics they didn't say:
    1. over what period
    2. number of cars on the road or length of journeys
as they measure traffic jams I suppose that's what they mean-3% fewer jams?

I give up - I hate random statistics being bandied about to make news items.....did you know that 40% of statistics are just made up?

Ok, the hall has been done......the dining room (which is where I will be seeing clients today) is done...and the conservatory (which is today's "waiting room") is almost done.....

Will have 15 mins on here while I have a coffee.....then finish conservatory, do the downstairs loo....then will start "work".

Now, if only I could keep on top of my housework, then I would have had a couple of hours to myself rather than panic-tidying - why oh why oh why can I not do this!!!!

It would still take time, tho, wouldn't it, to keep on top of the housework.... you are who you are, you work the way you do.... in my old house, I used to have a distinct housework rhythm (spelling!!!!) but I never got into one here, it never felt quite as much "home" to me, I suppose. I have to accept that, and just have a bit of a springclean when I have people to stay.

You've done good with the cleaning, anyway - and those clients will be bringing dosh in.
