I work in Charity, thats why my money is such crap. Also why I am not allowed to do Car boot sales!!. I have been away so missed in what capacity OH is going into. But I do enjoy my job. (When I get there and am fit enough!).
Had an awful day. Am exhausted, I shall not be long to my bed tonight. The choccy and a hot bath are calling me.
Need to update my signature but havent got the receipts too hand at the moment so I will catch that up another time.
Hope your brainstorm works wonders. I have to do them to survive too.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

In fact I have come to the conclusion that I have absolutely no control of any sort whatsoever  :o

Ebay has netted yielded another £26 so far, with an hour before the last thing ends today....and that has bids of £15 already, so far exceeded my £50 total - just waiting for everyone to pay and then I will package up to post tomorrow :D

Seaxwyn.....skirts arrived!! Thank you very very very much!!!

    El, thank you too :A

Sat the family down and gave them the "budgets talk"......they looked soooo interested.....NOT. I suspect it will be a long hard slog.....(again!) but I am determined to be hard and ruthless in my quest to avoid bank charges!

Rubbish woman and you know it. You have a ruthless determination to see the best for your family. Once more, I shall point out the skiing children...

You do have your limits, but they are waaaaay out there. You work hard, and right now you are tired and worn. Be easy on yourself. Be kind to yourself.

They don't have to be interested, because they know you're quite capable of guiding them through this difficult period.

Have you told Hubby you're determined to be hard and ruthless in finding him a better paying job?

Do it now - so he has no grounds for whinging when you break one finger for every job he fails to apply for.

    ooh, jammie dodgers.........yum :D

I think the problems over the last few weeks are because I am a bit of a control freak.....just a bit.....and this situation was out of my control. Normally when something goes wrong, or not according to plan, I can work through it on a practical level.....but of course only HE could sort himself out a job, and an income, and I just had to wait.....and nag.....and wait a bit more......and try the silent treatment......and blah blah blah!!!!

So, now that he has something, especially something he WANTS to do, I can get back to controlling things again...

it is a shame that being a control freak does not extend to my housework......one area of my life I cannot control :o

Are we twins?!! Let's look at the evidence:
    • Love of jammie dodgers
    • Like to be in control
    • Feel out of control because of OH and hate it
    • Housework phobia
It could have me that wrote this post!!!

Hypno are you my twin?..that's exactly how I feel about the accident business as I have everything under control normally and so much stuff was out of my hands.I'm also not very patient and need to know exactly where I stand...Being a control freak does not extend to my housework either as I use too much time and energy trying to get rid of debts...lol....not as efficiently as you though may I add.

OMG are you my twin as well?! I've just posted a very similar reply and then saw yours!!!
