Hypno are you my twin?..that's exactly how I feel about the accident business as I have everything under control normally and so much stuff was out of my hands.I'm also not very patient and need to know exactly where I stand...Being a control freak does not extend to my housework either as I use too much time and energy trying to get rid of debts...lol....not as efficiently as you though may I add.0

Taxi, look at your stats - you are FAR more efficient in reducing your debts than I am.....I am not worthy of being in your "virtual" presence
Talking of accidents - it is 1 year yesterday since my accident - are we any further on with the claim......are we heck!!!
Verbatim......we are needing to make up about £12k......small change, I know, but it still has to be doneSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hypno, now your daughter is 14, I hope she has delivered flyers round the neighbourhood advertising herself as a babysitter? My two are itching to be legally employable (in just six days time). Two of their friends are regularly earning good money babysitting and even dogsitting!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi Hypno = glad that Mr Hypno has at least found something and if he enjoys it, it has to be better than being in a job you hate. I know the feeling about trying to stretch everything to fit - DS had a scrape in my car last week - he was doing 2 miles an hour (yes TWO) as he turned into the Physiotherapists and got the car wedged between the iron gate posts - its going to be £1000 to repair and although I have protected no claims the excess is £550 as he is under 21 !!!! He can;t any regular work over the holiday so is brassick as well !!!!
Ho-hum - Its a whole months wages of my money to pay the excess0 -
i can totally sympathise with this i feel your pain hypno
Neither can I control the amount of chocolate that I desire to consume, nor the ability to stick to a budget....
.....hmm, perhaps not so much of a control freak as I thought......I must work harder at it!!
Surfbabe.....ouch :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Evening Hypno.
God news about hubby accepting the job, I know its a big shortfall but like you said it's better than jobs seekers. Fingers crossed he will get something sorted to make up the difference.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
