I'm sure the kids will behave ;)
Work was a bit messy this weekend Friday I had applied for overtime (5/6 hours) but didn't hear back so assumed I hadn't got it-apparently I had and was in trouble for not showing up for it.....Hmmm not a happy bunny at losing the cash but got a few extra hours last night-hopefully a few more today. Might need the extra pennies to buy a hat !!!!!
Hope the run was good -have fun this afternoon

They do charge you, but if you appeal they have to stop (I think I'm talking about soakaways, actually  )

You actually get a sewerage credit for soakaways if you let them know you have one. They do have to be of a certain specification, and the credit isn't massive - but better in your pocket than theirs.

Morning all - well I'm on the 4th load of washing and have started the 5ft pile of ironing. Picked DS up from Sywnnerton Barracks yesterday - round trip of 360miles all before midday so have heaps and heaps of stuff to wash.

Its lovely and sunny here but windy (good for getting the washing dry!). Hope you have a lovely afternoon Hypno - I'm hoping to be able to sit and read the papers in the garden if the wind dies down.:j

Won't tell you what our water rates are.

Sounds like a fun afternoon ahead hypno - relax and enjoy it. Hope the weather is good. I haven't even got off the blocks yet today - and it is nearly afternoon. Am feeling very guilty hearing about all this industriousness from everyone. :o

Hi Hypno, hope you have a great day out. Gosh what I would give for a social life!!! Done 2 loads of washing and it is pouring with rain. Can I bear to have it round the house or succumb to the tumble drier?

Well we have had a lovely afternoon........fab location - a house and gardens to die for - and a very relaxed few hours - all the kids got on well together - all played tennis and/or went swimming, we played rounders (and I got a rounder.....woo hoo :j ) and the food was delish.....the most tender steaks and the biggest strawberries you have ever seen.......yum!! The weather was not great, and we had to keep running in the outhouses to dodge the showers, but it didn't spoil the day. But oh how the other half live!!!

Pania came round this morning and we went for a longish power walk.....it gave us chance to chat as we walked, which we couldn't have managed if we had tried to run!! Then we sat down and went through my SOA and thankfully she agrees that there is nothing further that I can cut back on......so just a case of plodding on as we are (with the small matter of OH getting a job!).

Wow - it sounds gorgeous! Looks like you are just going to have to work your way up to boss hypno! :p Love the image of the outhouses - oh to have enough of them to shelter people from storms! Am guessing this place was not small...... ;)

has OH come round to the idea of getting another job?
