How old are you?

I've been amazed by the wisdom of some of the younger contributors to this board so I have a couple of questions :D .

How old are you?

What age were you first in debt?

I'll start :D .

I'm 39.

I have had debt of one kind or another since I was 19 :o .

Sam,

I'm 27 had debt since 18, one of the downfalls of going to uni guess.

My aim is to be debt free by early 2010 then save like mad, sell our home and buy a larger one on a mortgage of no more than 70% then work on being mortgage free.
    MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:

  • I am 29 and I have had debt since I was 18 (started with a student overdraft and then a year later headed into the murky world of credit cards)

Debt stopped going up about three and a half years ago but has only really done any reducing since December 2007 (when I found the DFW forum and had my LBM).

I'm 32 and got my first loan at about 20ish. I have been debt free a few times between then and now, being ill for the last 2.5 years has been my downfall this time.

I'm 25, had debt of some kind since I was 18 and started at uni - lived on overdraft and credit card. Consolidated when I finised and now repaying loan. Got rid of the credit cards so think Ive learned a good lesson fairly young not to rely on credit at all.
