Jo_F - I had one of those - think it was called a wig jig - have to say I never created anything that artistic out of it!! Well done.

I also made this one for a friend, she makes the most gorgeous glass lampwork beads and cos it was her birthday she was offering all her beads on her site as swaps, so I swapped a beautiful bead for a necklace, she asked everyone for necklaces, wanted them long and in 'summer' colours.

So this one is handmade pink wire coils, worked around the jig (first time I put the two techniques together) added a few Swarovski cyrstals and she loved it.

Apologies for the pants photo, I wanted to get a quick snap before it went in the post.

Gosh Jo you are very talented. I was looking at these jigs the other day on ebay but they are quite expensive. Had been thinking about how I could make one lol!!! I think on ebay they were around £20.

The charm rings I have are 10 loop ones and so far I have attached 3 beads on each but I think it may need more if I can fit them on as otherwise too much of the pin will be showing!! May have another go later!!!

Jo_F what sort of wire do you use for the wine glass charms please, so that I can get some on ebay perhaps.

jamjar - you usually buy the wine glass charm wires already formed. You can get them on ebay, just search under wine glass charm wire. You then add your beads etc on.

    Hi Jamjar,
I bought mine off ebay. The shop is now called Charm Supplies Co UK, used to be Slade Farm Designs.
I bought from here because she sells in large quantities, 48 or 144 plain rings, but there may be other cheaper sellers.
    HTH.

    Can I join?

I just bought a PMC kit complete with bow torch! :j It should arrive Tuesday!

Husband was a bit worried about the blow torch.... I'm the type that can't have candles when I'm bored... or I have to turn off the smoke alarm....

Came about after I spent about $200 (£100ish) on Etsy.com on silver pendants (that I designed more or less) and decided that if I could make some doodads with play doh, I could have a go at PMC, plus I ADORE silver, especially texured sliver. SO I have lots of plans for just lumps of the stuff with textures from my vast collection of natural crystals. I have huge chunks of rose quartz and tourmaleine that have such a lovely texture, I want it on a silver pendant!

The kit contains, blow torch, PMC+, tools including a burnisher, craft knife, spacer, roller. I also got 2 chains, 3in1 plyer tool, 100 jump(conector thingies ??) rings. I've got a hold of some silicone sheets used for baking and stuck it to a tray as my work surface and will get some spray oil... as apparently it's handy...

So, anyone else use PMC??? I have my first simple design drawn out.

Tiamai_d - I dont even know what PMC is!
It sounds very interesting, but seeing as I can manage to make a mess trying to put blobs of glue into clamps, I dont think I'd be allowed a blow torch either! Sounds like you know what you're doing, I love silver jewellery too, make sure you post some piccies when you are done.
    Jo
