Uber Rant. Partners not sharing goals, etc

Picked some beers up on the way from Chinese and they have gone. Only bought a 4 pack and now I'm not sure why.

Ranting a touch more about my missus.

We pay a stupid amount for Sky movies because she *must* have it. I got my bill in the other day which was higher than it usually is and I rang them and they explained that I had 7 box office movies on my account for the month, an extra £28 on top of the money she pays for movies, madness!

And she says me buying a computer game is a waste of money

I think my new signature is going to 'GLAD TO BE SINGLE' . It's better than the one I've got and more poitive. I've got mine so I can start putting score lines through the amounts soon!! :j

I know that it's the way I approach these things...sometimes I have quiet spells at work when I have a few hours spare and I get down to some nerdy maths. I work out lots of stuff, project stuff over the next few months and say "lets do it this way".

Maybe i should say "if we do it this way, we could safe £xx.xx. What do you think?"

I do KNOW that it's my manner. I'm aware of it.

I just thought that that last case (we can get the groceries from your current account and spend £200, or we can get it from this credit card, spend £200, but get cashback" was a no-brainer.

But then again, telling someone that swapping to an alternative strategy to their's is a "no-brainer" suggests that they are stupid, doesn't it?

GP you could just try going to bed and not mention it. If she does then say it doesn't matter you jut want her to be happy - that might get her interested??
