Another poster on another forum has mentioned that northern rock ATM cards are being replaced with visa debits (dont hold me to it though) it seems there was an insert in there recent statement or something.
I have just recalled that the Northern Rock CC is administered by the Co-op Bank (Sort code begins 08-) so it could well be a 450875 numbered card unless they asked Visa for another BIN.
Edit: Just out of interest does anyone have a Credit Union Current Account with a Visa Debit card, if so can you post a pic of it, and state what the first 6 numbers are of the long number across the card are and if it is embossed like a Visa Debit card or unembossed like an Electron card.0 -

Thanks Toe-Jam I will take a look at the latest monthly Barclaycard BIN list to see where 4507 sits. I had consider it might be that, along with 4508 and 9 but my eye sight is not good and the resolution on my old laptop was not very good either.0

Good point the BIN Number on nothern rock card above begins 4909. As the bank only offer one type of current account i can imagine the BIN number may remain the same for the converted ATM cards. However im guessing no one will really know until they start to issue them it would be like clutching at straws until the cards are actually in exsistance.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

They already offer 3 types of card ATM only ATM/DEBIT and ATM/DEBIT/CHEQUE.
The one in the picture is the ATM/DEBIT.0 -

that is the new card that they are replacing the ATM card with? as in the current T&C's until they are updated there are only 2 card types an ATM and a 3-in-1 (50 and 100 CGC limits)0 -
Thanks very much i knew id seen one somewhere on the forum
I wonder why banks are starting to put the visa debit logo at the top of the card now adays.
Coventry Building Society cards produced in August 2009 still have the Visa debit logo at the bottom of the card , whereas a Norwich & Peterborough card also produced in August 2009 has the logo at the top :eek:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
