I had to visit three shops to get some.
Lidl's don't have any and apparently haven't had any for over a week now! Aldi's didn't have any but was so busy, I didn't ask what the situation was. Finally managed to get some in morrisons, so bought 2 lots in case this is going to be an ongoing problem.
Lidls was 28p this week. We needed for pizza.

I got a bargain in Morrisons then as I only paid 24p, seems like something else that is going up.0 -
Had a tesco shop delivered today, and can't believe how little i got for my money. We're short of brass at the moment so I restricted myself to £50 for the fortnight (we have a few basics in already) and honestly, seeing it all sat here on the living room floor, there is bu&&er all!!!
There didn't seem to be as many offers on the stuff we wanted either. Seems they are trying to encourage us to buy processed foor with the offers, and leaving basic stuff without them.
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

I went shopping at Morrisons, my local supermarket on Saturday and again spent a tenner over my usual budget and we did not buy any luxury items or extras aside from 4 cans of lager for OH which were on special offer. also at least half of my trolley was value stuff, the other was own brand , never buy branded except for branston pickle. I am now going to have to rethink shopping budget and get more creative with meal planning, we can not afford that extra tenner. In an earlier post of mine I mentioned a friend who is really skint and struggling to afford value items, the last time I saw her, she told me that she is still struggling and going without on certain items. This is not good and very worrying.0

Is it worth you taking a look at the May Grocery Challenge thread? There's lots of ideas for reducing monthly spends, you don't have to join the challenge, although it may help focus your spending.

I too have had enough and decided yesterday to cut my shopping bill.
decided to go Tesco and buy ONLY BOGOF or half price items, not much in the way of BOGOFF but lots of items half price, everything in my basket was stuff I would normally buy anyway and EVERTHING was half price, bill came to £28 which would normally have been £56. took it all home, then went to sainsburys and did the same again with their BOGOFS spent 32.00 and got £27 worth of stuff free! so £55's worth of stuff for nowt! first time I have ever done this, but i will now be doing it a lot more in future!0 -

Such hard work keeping up with all the increases!
This time last year Tesco value chopped tomatoes were 15p a tin, now 21p!
I have gone back to value plum tomatoes as they are 'only' 19p.
Time to move to the Aldi/ Lidl stores.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
