Wasn't the deal with this voucher that you had to spend £ 10 and then book through the Airmiles site as part of the to get the voucher?

    Details on Airmiles website has:
You’ll receive your 1500 mile voucher within 30 days of your first spend of £10* or more on the Lloyds TSB American Express® Card.

    With the * stating:
    * Based on eligible spend. Eligible Purchases do not include cash withdrawals, money transfers, cheques, interest, fees or charges, Payment Protection Cover, Transactions at casinos, betting outlets or bookmakers or payments to offline or online current, savings, sharetrading, spread betting, gambling or any other similar account.

The hotels are fairly pricey, but good quality, I've booked a honeymoon hotel for July and used 2000 Airmiles to reduce the cost (though not by a huge amount).

The best way of finding a flight that I've found is if you want to go to their Deal of the week and Inspiration sections - not a massive choice, but a lot easier to find availability. Offer at the moment is for Venice: https://www.airmiles.co.uk/travel/inspiration.do

My problem was I had heard nothing at all after spending the £10. I had assumed i'd see a message on my statement, get a notification email or something, but not a word. I didn't even know how to check my account online. The information from LTSB is not very clear!

However I have now received an Airmiles membership card, registered it on the website, and found my voucher waiting for me already! It would be nice if they made it all a little more clear in the instructions, but i'm happy.:j

I had forgotten about the 1500 airmiles voucher till I had a look yesterday!!

I emailed airmiles customer services and have just received the 'you replied through LTSB not through us' message.

I have emailed back to say I had applied through Airmiles and that it redirected to LTSB in the application process.

Wait to hear from them again - so far have collected over 200 airmiles through the account so not too bad but would still like the 1500 which was the reason I changed from my old LTSB card!!

I received the 1500 no problem but have not received the airmiles due on the card spend subsequently. i was naive enough to assume they would be paid on time and i spent loads of money and cashed in my tesco's vouchers so that by the end of february i could top up the flight and book a short break in the october half term ...

Lots of complaints to lloyds and loads of grovelly letters from them, they now tell me they have a 'technical problem' with the outstanding miles and meanwhile i have lost the free flight.

Remembering that the free miles have to be redeemed by next spring i have had to use them to book a hotel instead and have had to pay cash for the flight. Out of pocket by an estimated £150 on the original calculations.

Dishonest advertising or what? Isn't there somewhere or someone they can be reported to?

No problems here - got back from my free trip to Berlin yesterday...

Just spent the minimum £10 on the AMEX card, the points appeared as a voucher on my airmiles.co.uk account about a week later.

Finally found the paperwork - and have a voucher to get my flight, but as I already have 1590 miles on another account (that I can't get into) seems I am going aorund in ever decreasing circles!!!!!

Hope you get your problems sorted. mine have taken on a new form - time to speak to Airmiles about trying to merge accounts when one is inaccessible!!

Hopefully it's worth persevering, since my last post I complained again to Airmiles and asked them to get me a response from Lloyds TSB. This week I got a phone call from Lloyds TSB to say I'll get the 1500 miles credited within 28 days. No apology, no explanation but I'll wait and see if they come!
  • I have recently sorted out me airmiles with Lloydstsb as I had been passed back and forth between Lloyds and Airmiles. I think the problem was that I was a Lloyds customer already and applied for the Airmiles Duo through the airmiles website. Lloydstsb eventually could see that I had applied through the airmiles website and have instructed airmiles to add them to my account. Hope that helps!

lloyds have assured me that they have given me my airmiles on several occasions. I have done everything as required and should have quite a few miles now but nothing. I have emailed airmiles themselves and await the reply with interest!

Hello fellow members, I think those who are having the LLOYDS TSB AIRMILES problems (like me) should click the below link. This is the page that was sent to me and which I clicked onto to apply for the cards.. THE FRAUDSTERS TAKE YOU TO A LLOYDS TSB LINK, so immediately you are not valid for the airmiles as this doesn't meet the criteria for an application to go through successfully.

    They bumped us folks!!!!

By clicking on this site you are applying through the Lloyds TSB site NOT through the AIRMILES SITE which THEN DOES NOT validate your claim.

Have a look, I have just checked and sent an email to Airmiles stating just this!!! I'm furious as I received my statement this morning with something like 20 airmiles total.....I called both Airmiles and LLoyds (20 MINS )and both said the other was to blame!!! Nothing they could do..that I should write a complaint letter to Lloyds, WELL I'M FED UP WITH IT ALL.

    I HOPE THIS HELPS OUT

    Good luck
    Heather
