Meeting new people with little or no money - Is it possible??

Evening everyone! :beer:

I've had usual Friday night at pub. Busy weekend ahead- gym, lunch date and birthday party tomorrow and another birthday celebration Sunday.

I keep thinking of going on Solos hols but am a bit nervous and it is too easy to persuade myself they are too expensive!! (not that it's stopped me buying anything else!!)

One of my friends has rung to ask if I will take her to a party as she doesn't want to go alone. Going purely as friends however it is some big flash do and apparently various "actresses" from Hollyoaks and other soaps will be there.

I realised a few months ago that being shy gets you nowhere.

So I made it my mission one night to chat to as many people as I could and it went very well for the most part. One or two flat out rebutals, but mostly was good fun.

You'll never see them again, you should always give it a go.

I would kill to be in your place if that makes you feel better about it! Don't waste it!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm home from the party.

It was fairly boring. I don;t watch Hollyoaks so didn't know anyone from it. Spent most of the time chatting to a group about the housing market, credit crunch and various local gossip.

I stayed up late!!!

Well actually had been asleep all yesterday afternoon due to a mirgaine and couldn't sleep!

Back to work tomorrow though
