I used to be in the scouts and camping there put me off.

I woke up once at the bottom of a hill in just my sleeping bag. That put me off.

I guess you just need a good weekend or something. I will try and give it another go if I get the chance.

I did give it some thought a couple of years ago as I thought it would make for some cheap weekends away (once you had a tent and everything of course)

I don't like camping at all. Bad childhood memories. That's what puts me off going to a music festival.
