I've never seen a repo be on the open market for 5 months without going to auction
that's a very patient lender if it is
I have and guess that the mortgage lenders were head in sand and trying to recover all of their debt.
Finally went to auction in Feb and purchaser is trying to flip after installing laminate floors.......................
BUT:
They did not realise that planning permission is just going in for a major redevelopment directly opposite the property which could blight it for up to 18 months!0 -
This was on at £450000 last year when we started looking.
Dropped to £385000 a while back and down to £300000 today. That's just over 33%.

.....just wanted to update on my local property bee results.
Since April approx 60-70% of properties I have been tracking (of about 400) have been reduced between 2-10% ...with a couple of major 20% reductions in there.
EA's must be getting bored as one particular one has spent all today typing in the house numbers of each of their properties on rightmove!!
Just thought I'd keep you updated
