one of the better reductions I've found

but I've found many in excess of 20%

    • Price changed: from '£200,000' to '£190,000'
    7th May 2008
    • Price changed: from '£209,995' to '£200,000'

This is a significant drop in this area where people are generally still asking 2007 prices, I think it will go lower. Its currently on with three EAs but has been on with up to five, which suggests a quick sale is needed.

249K was surely a mistake, looking at prices for that street I reckon they will be lucky to get 150K for it.

they had it at 249k for a while

I think they were trying to get planning permission for something, and got knocked back, hence the hefty reduction

in that area, they will be lucky if it actually sells at 125k at the moment

Currently seeing a few every other day drop in the areas/range I'm keeping an eye on...

Birmingham - Doing large searches on this as a whole, smaller ones on the below areas :
    Kings Norton
    Erdington
    Pype Hayes

Searches are for 2+ bed houses, 100k to 130k.

Interesting that Dixons Countrywide have numerous houses now appearing with "This property is offered with a 5% gifted deposit.". At least 4 or 5 properties have had that added into their detail in the last 8 days (since I started use Property Bee). Starting to see 3 bed properties come close to my range of up to around 110-115k for half-decent areas and with fitted kitchen/bathroom etc :D

    Few examples :

Ive been using property bee now for a month now. Im a FTB and looking at buying in the postcode CF41 which is in the rhondda, and im looking at spending upto £110,000.
The amount of reductions ive seen within 3 mile radius of CF41 has been unbelivable! It looks like as if the lower end of the scale of homes are really struggling to get rid of their homes and have reduced their prices. Where the prices im looking at £110,000 ish they seem to be sticking to their guns and no reductions.
Anyway if the amount of reductions you can see below is anything to come by a month after the credit crisis i hope there are alot more reductions to come :)

Dean, you should get a palace for 110K in CF41! We're looking in CF64 and the prices are stubbornly high still.
