My phone arrived today, and looking through the pack I noticed the booklet on cheque-backs is a standard issue - i.e. it doesn't seem to relate to the specific deal advertised on the web.
Our deal is as follows;
AUTOMATIC MONEY BACK
£130.05 from CPW --- within 28 days of connection. You do not need to send anything in the receive this.
£45 from '3' --- contribution from the Network Provider, amended to your bill over months 1, 2 and 3. You do not need to send anything to receive this.
REDEMPTION CHEQUEBACKS
£68.54 --- send 4th airtime bill within 60 days of receipt
£68.54 --- send 8th airtime bill within 60 days of receipt
TOTAL
You receive a total of £312.12
On a seperate note, I was looking thru eBay and noticed that you can turn it into a Sat Nav for around £50 (GPS device around £40 plus TomTom 5 on card for around £10) with no ongoing subscriptions! Yippee
Got mine last week and as did Jonni2bad got the standard redemption info. Is it worth us contacting each other in case CPW try and pull a fast one. I went for this because I liked the idea of getting £130 upfront. Im happy to form a list if people want to pm me.
On the tomtom front, loaded it up today and got it running, great no more having to cary a PDA as well.0 -
I got the Nokia 6630, £3.99 deal but the automatic cashback is a joke. I got my phone in July and am still waiting for my 'automatic' £130 cheque. I have had 3 different excuses so far and will still have to wait another 2 weeks.
If you got this deal make sure you check up on your 'automatic' cashback.0
