  • There is a better deal at carphone warehouse...http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-pd-ProductDisplay?PN=NETWORKS.AUG66309MFLR&origin=SPECIALOFFER

Its 9 months free line rental on a 12 month contract, with 500 mins anytime and 100 texts a month. The last 3 months are £30 a month....
so 3 months x £30 = £90 (£90 is all your going to have to pay for this contract) £90 divided by the whole 12 months is....£7.50. Which means you have to pay £7.50 average each month.

I know ... my maths is good... :D

    It's difficult to tell if it's a 12 or 18 month contract.

If you click on the "Buy Now" button, it shows as 11 months for £2.99 and not £1.99 as stated on !!!!!!'s website!!

It does "appear" to be a 12 month contract, as the 18 month contracts show (18) after the tariff.

However, it must be a mistake and looks too good to be true, as the same deal on an 18 month contract only gives 10 months free.

If u read it properly it is £1.99 for 12 months...but this is a 18 months contract so the last 6 months are £30 a month. Am I going to fast for you....

you must have read it very carefully. I found it to confusing i gave up after 10 mins. CPW deal looks good though. Not sure if I'll remember the cash back though.

I have 2 other contract phones so not at the right time for me. (but am still a little tempted)

Aside from Carphone Warehouse wanting to reserve £75 against your credit card until you activate the phone with them, I was almost tempted to replace my LG8110 with that Nokia :(

    Does anyone know if:

    1) the reconditioned Nokia 6630 for £3.99 pm is locked to 3 network?
    2) the tariff can be downgraded to £20pm (without loss of cashback from CPW) after month 8 or even month 6?

    Regards
    Danny
  • From reading another thread you cant unlock Nokia 6630s and 6680s at the present time. I bought a clearance e2save.co.uk 6630 for my son last month and it was as good as new. Not sure about the tariff change as I intend to stick to that tariff for the year. 500 mins x network and 100 texts. Worked out at £5 per month after cashback so the above offer looks good.
