Happy St George's day to all celebrating.
Happy birthday Stefejb...enjoy what's left of it:bdaycake::bdaycake:
Not as nice here to-day as yesterday, wind on way back but clothes should be dry on line, so must get them in a bit.
DGS 1 came out of school at home time complaining of a 'bad' pain in his tummy...he panics at the least thing so took him home and offered him some boiled warm water as I am sure that it is just wind...having whimpered for a while he is now on couch in living room fast asleep...wanted Calpol which I would never give with stomach pains...gone home now and apparently fine...needs reassurance frequently in spite of having very loving, caring parents...
Just going to have dinner now, late for me, but was busy with things I wanted to finish before handing over the pc to DD4.
Hugs to Anniebl especially to-day and to Smoky and all who are in need or want at this time.

Evening all.
I'm still here, just a bit quiet. (careful.... )
Bad day, good day so far. It started off badly at about midnight when some t**t arrived with his caravan and decided to park about 20 feet from me and then proceeded to open and close all 48 doors on his car before winding his rusty corner steadies down. Bearing in mind I only took one sleeping tablet last night instead of the usual two, I never fully recovered from that and got up at 5 o'clock
I had a mini road-trip to Westbury this morning to rehome my little fishies with a very nice lady who already has 4 fishtanks, 3 cats, 2 dogs and a horse!! And I thought I loved animals  Called at Te$co's on the way back and forgot most of what I wanted coz I didn't make a listand then went to PC World and bought myself a pre-divorce cheer up present and I am now posting this via my shiny new loptap
Tea tonight, or "evening meal/dinner" if you're posh (which I'm not) will be something with mince, purely because that's what came out of the freezer first! I haven't got a clue what to do with it so raw mince sarnies dipped in beer looks likely

(((hugs)) redruby - isn't it marvellous, you take a dog to the vet for a virus and as they charge they can give an injection to help, when we go to the doctors they say, oh there is nothing we can do for a virus, it just has to take its course!!!
Well the shower stopped, brightened and then turnedinto rain! Sat here listening to the tap tap tap onthe caravan roof. lol
Take care - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
I went to get hubby from the station & when he got off the train everyone was giving him a very wide berth, as he got nearer I could see a large bloodstained plaster stuck to his head. Someone dropped a plank of wood on his head. He really should have had it stitched, or at least cleaned properly, but he had no way of getting to a hospital, so mopped the worst up with kitchen towel & then stuck a couple of plasters on it!
On the bright side his brother has paid him some money & will catch up in 3 weeks.

Hiya all, how ya doing? :hello:
We've been busy busy busy, cards sales are going well, we've gone nuts in the garden so it's looking quite fab, even if I do say so myselfOh and the washing machine leaked EVERYWHERE
I posted some stuff to an MSE'r then yesterday we ended up near her house so I could have dropped it off. Would probably have given her a shock and would have seemed a bit stalkery
Poor old Beans (piggymouse) was castrated (oh I hate that word, sounds so cruel) this morning so he's feeling a bit sorry for himself. If Baz doesn't give birth soon, she'll pop. Should happen within the next couple of days. Got to go, I'm starving and tea is nearly ready :wave:Bulletproof0 -
Evening Guys!
I am a bear with a sore head today:o .....I have just posted on the benefits board and swore which really isnt like me, but fed up of the bickering!
On the other hand, I received a lovely thank you card from a Freecylcer whom had some wooden blinds that we needed a new home for...there are some nice people left in the world:D
DD not feeling too well and has a temperature, so hope she is not coming down with something. My helper wasnt able to "help" this week as she has had this sickness bug, so know theres stuff going around ATM. I was sick last week too, so maybe I have given it to herMy helper has told me not to pay her for doing the ironing as she has messed me around....but she cant help being ill and of course she will get paid.
Our Egg & Chips were delish and had big slices of butter with brean with it;)
Im going round my friends in the morning as hse is totally fed up and depressed ATM. Her baby has been unwell and think she has cabin fever, so I thought my bright cheery face:rotfl: ...yeah right .....will help her:eek:   ...I am taking cakes though which I will buy from the bakery.
Also have a hair appointment for DD & I for after school tomorrow as we have the funeral Monday and my hairdresser cant cut it at home...so thats going to set me back a few quid...but at least I will be pampered:D
Managed to list 10 items today on Ebay.
Anyway, I am rambling.
Happy Birthday to all celebrating today.
Hugs

Well now then, it looks like the Benthic One has played another blinder
Superb Spag Bol, made, eaten and cleared up in less than an hour. No histrionics, no palaver, no-one complaining about my Anglo-Saxon expletives when I spill somethingNothing. Just me being me and getting on with it
At moments like this, I honestly wonder why I got married in the first place
 to a simple life
