Happy birthday to stefejb and mr churchmouse, have a great day:j

dh and me are both really pleased today, he got a phonecall about a job he had 2 interviews for a month ago and has been offered the job:D :D:D he messed up one of the computer tests as he was on nightshift and hadnt slept, so this was out of the blue as we both thought there was no chance he would get it.

will mean a bit more money and less petrol to spend to get there, he could even cycle to his work:rolleyes:

thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday, loved aussies cake for me, mm yummy:rotfl:

Need to split post askept typing in red!

Have lentil soup in slow cooker - red lentils, onions, leeks, carrots and potato with organic veg stock cubes.

DH smelt it cooking as he was about to go out to a meeting where he was being treated to lunch.

Commented he would much rather be eating my soup than be going out to lunch!

Touched and pleased I informed him that was the nicest thing he had said in ages!

Reply was "Well, its true - lunch out is crap - it is all microwaved rubbish!

Suddenly feel less complimented but think I know what he meant.;)

Going to Lidl tomorrow to stock up with flour, sugar,LL milk, veg and fruit and stuff for the freezer.

Going out for a quock look at the local charity shop and might get wool to knit baby hats for the wooligans. Do they need to be baby wool?

    See you later
