    Good morning:D

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Mr CM.

 Happy Birthday stefejb. Hope you're feeling good today.

Shakespeare died on this day, and it's believed he was born around this day (birth registration was much more haphazard back then:rolleyes: ) And of course it's St George's Day, although Martin appears not to be celebrating:rolleyes:  He didn't last year either. He never forgets St Patrick's day which is only a few week's ago rant, rant:cool:

My day will not be OS at all:D We're off for a nice lunch somewhere, depending on whether or not the weather improves. At the moment it's pretty grey, but still dry. Shame really, as yesterday was glorious in London. Anyone in Kent, how's it doing down your part, or Surrey? We could head in either direction:D

Shez, sorry about DH's van, hope things pick up.

    Thinking of anniebooklover and family.

((((hugs)))) for all who need them,
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Hi all. PENPEN - thanks for the flag!

Happy Birthday to STEFEJIB and MR CHURCHMOUSE!!:bdaycake: :bdaycake:

R.MAC - good luck with the exam!

Well, the rain has almost stopped and it has suddenly got a lot warmer. Don't think I'll risk hanging any washing out, though. I think the sun might be out later.

CHURCHMOUSE - the first thing I noticed was that Martin was not celebrating St George's Day. Still, at least some of us are and I loved PENPEN's flag!

Well, better go and get this ironing done.

    See you all later.

    Morning me lovelies :D

    Happy St George's Day

    Stefejb - Happy Birthday. C'mon the Bees!!! ;) :T

Mr CM - Happy birthday, chap!

Was chilli in the end last night. It definitely benefits from being frozen, I reckon....

Miserable day at the moment in London. Was told it will brighten up later though

Today's dinner will be chicken soup, providing it hasn't gone off :o If it was in the freezer until the weekend and has been in a sealed plastic tub in the fridge since, it should be ok, right? Smells fine.....

(((hugs)))) to those in need (and those that want ;):D)

    Have a great day

Oh and I've dated a Ruth and a Sue, but no kaths, Kates, Heathers or Jos. :D

    Happy St Georges Day everybody!

Glorious sunny day here, feels like real spring has arrived, windows all thrown open and cats merrily jumping in and out of each and every one, they're driving the dog mad!

Must be the sunshine giving me some get up and and go, either that or the fact i'm on hol and not working nights :D I've got the WM going, BM whirring, DW run and unloaded and reloaded, SC full of pots, cauli and broccoli, will be adding cheese to the milk later, yum, and frozen individual portions of veg curry made yesterday eve out of assorted leftovers.

Need to have a whizz around and then get hall table tidied, yet again, just seems to collect everyones junk, but why does nobody notice when I bin it all  Then must iron oh some more shirts, he's back home tonight then off again for the rest of the week, great way of keeping food bill down, cos he eats loads! Also want to take and root some lavender cuttings, then remove the woody plants and have a think what I can put in their place - prob be lavender again, it's under the sitting room window and I love the smell in the summer, and it looks pretty with the climbing rose.

I hope everyone has a lovely day x

CHURCHMOUSE - the first thing I noticed was that Martin was not celebrating St George's Day. Still, at least some of us are and I loved PENPEN's flag!

When I was a little girl, some ahem years ago, my Mum used to show me the flags that the church had put out for my birthday - I beleived her for years.

Well I'm coughing like a good'un this morning - nothing to do with going out last night, or the alcohol, or the night bus - honest. dd(11) stayed at her sister's last night and dd(22) left a note to remnd me we need loo roll so no cards yet. I did get a text from dd(18) but it was only to tell me that the "da footi las nite was so funi" - I've put it through babelfish and gather that there was a rather amusing (unless you're exoh or dd11) ending to last night's game. In any case we normally do birthdays at the weekend after - the girls are cooking me a meal for a change on saturday.

well today the plans are to tackle the neverending housework, do an online shop - I've got £10 off Mr T - and hopefully take delivery of my new tent.

Annieb - hope today goes as well as it can for you and yours
TNG - are you another bees fan - youngest dd and I had season tickets until this season when she declared that she'd rather boil her head tahn endure any more misery. I hardly ever go now but am waiting till dgs(3) is old enough to be [STRIKE]indoctrinated[/STRIKE] taken
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Morning All,

Nice and sunny here at the mo, but was raining when I came to work! Quiet day as boss is out until tomorrow lunch time :j  Washing machine has been emptied, put on airer as it was raining when I came to work! Meal plan for the rest of this month and next month is complete but egg and chips sounds so good I might have to add/swap around a bit.

Hugs to AnnieBL, Smokey, Martyn, PenPin and any others who are down or poorly or just in need.

Happy Birthday to Stefejb & Mr Churchmouse.

Happy St George's Day to those who celebrate. (Check out the banner at the top of the thread - Martin is celebrating after all)!!!

Right off for a coffee. Have a good day one and all

Siouxie Sioux (Bargain Rzl - just for you!!;) )
  • I am most seriously thinking of taking a big F****** hammer to my laptop and then throwing it out the window...

My own fault, I keep trying to flog a dead horse.........maybe I should flog the laptop instead.

    OH, washing machine is calling............
Today, my BEST is good enough.
