Aw, can I only pick one?

HSBC get my first vote. Refused to port our portable mortgage and left us right in the diddy-poo. Halifax stepped in and saved the day, which has increased their popularity in the panda-pen slightly, but I still don't like them either due to general incompetence.
  • Lloyds for being so unsympathetic when my Mum died, who was joint on my 93 year old Nans account, one old b!tch very rude to me & my Sister, when we phoned up to enquire about a few things for my nan ( complained, were told we could write in, yes feel like doing that when my Mum's just died ) & as my Nan is disabled & deaf, very difficult to get her into the bank, they refused to do anything over the phone, or by post, which meant my distraught Dad & Nan had to go & change the account into my Dads name & were in there for an hour & a half!!
Also the gits have got my nan a gold account, my Dad was too upset to understand what this is, she is paying every month for this, she doesn't have enough going in to make the extra interest on it, has no mobile phone for free insurance & at now 94 is unlikely to be going on holiday for the free insurance, so being robbed!
Obvious she doesn't need/want it - making money out of vunerable people & my Dad is still not up to going back in to change it.
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

I'm glad it's not just me that found HSBC to be uncaring, arrogant, deliberately untruthful, and altogether nasty company.:o

Halifax I can't stand them treat us like crap, phoned hospital and demanded to speak to a very very ill DH. Took his savings (ok maybe they were allowed to do that) and then emptied my sons account. Added interest while on DMP told lies I could keep going but they arn't worth it.

That's disgusting, but unsurprising. I hold the Halifax with complete contempt. They have accused me of fraud (I asked for my CCA and they sent something back which someone else had written!), their Collections Team continued to pursue me long after they agreed to refund nearly £4000 worth of reclaimed bank charges, and they have sent letters to me from Collections Managers who, I believe, do not exist!

I've had my day in court with them over bank charges (Well, they settled out of court for the full amount), and have had them refund my credit card charges..........................now my court application is in over the mis-sale of PPI on the credit card. Their correspondence to me does not make good reading for them! :p
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Nationwide could all rot in hell and I would be incredibly happy.

They are rude, stupid, ignorant ****s and I only stay because of the flexaccount abroad.

Am closing my CC down with them in favour of the PO though, so at least I only have one account.

They are only suitable for able bodied people as well - you're not allowed to do ANYTHING over the phone!!!! I HATE THEM ARGHHHH

I think this has to be the 9th vote for HSBC, lost count. I had POA for my FIL & they lost copies of my passport, utility bills & P60 TWICE, after they had been handed in to a member of staff at the WALSALL branch............anyone from there reading this????
