OH has managed to create 6cm x 6cm patch of engine oil on the carpet by the door. It was a nice biege carpet! Any ideas of how best to tackle it? It was done last Friday. I have heard of butter rubbed in or baby powder then wash. any advice really helpful.0

TOP TIP!!!! Use a small amount of petrol, works AMAZING!!!!
Thought I would have to replace carpet but read somewhere that petrol works so thought I would try as a last resort. Smell is minimal if you use a small amount on a cloth. Mt wife followed after with soapy water and the smell went all together.
All oil removed and no stain at all, carpet like new, saved££££ on not having to replace carpet.0 -
It is always good to take help from carpet cleaners. There are so many carpet cleaning service providers available in the market. They can remove any kind of stains and spots from your carpets. Expert cleaners guarantee that all dust, stains, and germs are removed and carpets are returned appearing like they were when bought.0
