Unfortunately he had already washed the jeans before telling me what he'd done, so not sure if there's any hope.

  • rub a little Swarfega- I guess every mechanic has some-on the oil stain, then pop the garment in the wash.

vanish Oxi-action spray, must be the oxi-action, it's the dear one. Then wash at 60 degrees temp. That's also the only thing I have found that gets out cooking fat stains on clothes.

The heat setting is boiled water from the kettle poured into a basin with the biological powder in that

    Hi there,

I picked my car up from the garage a couple of days ago after its MOT () and the mechanics have been in my car wearing their big oily boots!

I now have a lovely set of oily footprints on the carpet/car mat - whats the best way to get it out?

    Thanks!

My dad came up to help fix our petrol lawnmower, and in the process, removed some cap whilst the motor was going and it has splattered oil all over him! It's all over his polo shirt - my mum will not be pleased!!! ha ha.

Is there any hope of getting this out? He is just going to bin the t-shirt, but it seems a shame.

    Thanks in advance,
