yep yorkshire puds for me too and more recently pizza.
when the kids had sleepovers I always used to order pizza hut pizzas, chicken etc, now I make a pizza or two and buy frozen chips coleslaw and salad - alot cheaper and the kids love it as they can make their own pizzas with their favourite stuff0 -

making own white/cheese sauce etc i've doen for ages alway found it fairly easy. But for me one thing i've always shyed away from and never done is home made gravy. i always use the instant granuals and boiling water.
Anyway on sunday i cooked a joint of beef in slow cooker. there was loads of juices and i asked my mil to show me how to turn it into gravy, OMG !!!!! it was so simple and the best gravy i've ever had. i was completey amazed. i love cooking and often experiment but homemade gravy was something i never thought i'd learn. Can't believe i didn't make it before. Next time i cook a chicken i'm determined i will try and make gravy again, with my new found wisdom. lol0 -
I make muffins, shortbread and pizza. They all taste better than shop bought, especially the pizza. Twink's hobnobs are great if I want to take something to work - they're very popular.
I have arthritis in my hands though, and I have to admit to sometimes using packet crumble mix if my hands are very sore. I don't do shortbread very often for the same reason.0
