right the latest car debacle....both the shop and the mechanic are calling each other liars so i have told them to sort it out and get back to me but it looks like it is going to cost me another £180 isnt that fun!!!!....

skint roundabouts were scary i didnt want to put my foot on the brake but some you just gotta dontcha and as you know ek is polomint city so getting to work was a trial in itself...drove today within the guidelines of 60mph etc and managed to keep the car above 55mpg i was treating it like a challenge it kept me focussed will try and see how long i can keep it up i think

work 1 is done for another few days thankfully ...i had a very heavy shift last night up to 5 min obs so i didnt get a chance for any planning

but today i did go to the petrol station and i did get the diesel for the cheaper price so that was good then i went to sainsbury and got the chicken so will write down my spends for today

    £20 diesel
    0.48 bananas
    0.96 pesto
    £18 chicken
0.79 x2 avacado (got a third one free)
£1.75 turkey (it's cheaper gonna see if i can substitue chicken for turkey once a week)
    £1.29 x2 warburtons
    £3.49 veg oil
    £2.43 lurpak
    £1.50 sausages
    0.76 honey
    6 coke for 6 bottles

now i used my visa were possible so i get 1% cash back on that and i will be stoozing the money till the 15th so i will make a tiny bit of interest on that too ...

now i have sold a book on amazon so i need to go back up and get an envelope for it then post it but i should clear £5.50 for that (hopefully) and i have my daily clicks to do then it's off to job no2 will let you know if anything else transpires

bob you are right driving is painful but i dont want to keep swalling pain killers i will try and get an appointment with the dr to see what my options are i think

hi El! I often use turkey instead of chicken.....in fact if you get the dark meat, it is much tastier I reckon.

were currently sitting at a further £180 with a set of brake discs that are no good to me to keep according to both the shop and the mechanic .....
  • can you sell the car to the garage and buy another? seems like so much money going on it..unless of course it is worth a lot..congrats on the Amazon sale as well.

Did my best with the 60mph thing El but had to speed up when letting folks on from the slip roads... managed most of the time though.
The car sounds a nightmare - sorry.
