thanks everyone for all your support and understanding we have been spending the last few days talking about things and trying to understand what has happened ...things are moving along slowly as i am very aware that a few years ago something much worse happened and i swore then i would never put myself in a situation with hubby where i felt unsafe again and although that didnt happen the other night it could very easily have reached that level and i am a pain for insisting on being respected and not giving second chances which is something i have to work on

well you are quite right to insist on this.
    hope you are ok

Absolutely - you have every right to be treated with respect - always. Drink, pain etc may be reasons for bad behaviour but they are not excuses. Hope you are OK...

well hubby went to see the back specialist on thursday and has an m.r.i booked in for next week so hopefully we will get closer to a diagnosis and take it from there ....

my treatment bed has arrived so i am getting more organised for starting my own business but i have been spending alot of money i cant really afford so i am going to have to get my butt back into being sensible about money ...i know we were away on holiday and i know it will take a wee bit to get the business up and running but i will need to draw a line under the spending soon....and try and figure out ways to get more money in so brain storming session coming up i think although i have uni to get ready for and this course to get ready for and a marriage to get sorted so i think money will have to take a back seat for a wee while

Good for you El, you have spelled it out to him so he knows what the consequences will be. It is up to him now, hope he has a lightbulb moment sometime soon. XX

Good luck hun. You are right to make that it is a two way street. If he can do without the drink for 28 days he can do without it for 29, 30 etc. Hope he realises what he stands to lose. Take care of yourself - and don't worry too much about the money - sometimes life comes first!

Been thinking of you El, and not just everytime my needle goes above 60! Hope things are settling down and getting sorted and if the money stuff gets put on the back burner for a wee while it will be worth it if you manage to get everything else fixed. x
